ADC Anantnag reviews arrangements for celebration of I-Day, 2022 ,Stresses synergy for smooth arrangements  Directed all officers to make necessary arrangements in advance for the national event

Beig Shamim Ahmed : July, 18: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC)  Ghulam Hassan Sheikh today  chaired a joint meeting of officers to review  arrangements being put in place by different departments for colourful celebration of Independence Day-2022.

    The meeting was apprised that GDC Boys Khanabal shall be main venue for the celebration  where the chief guest will unfurl tricolour.

 Threadbare discussions were held on security arrangements, traffic regulation, seating arrangements, full dress rehearsal, decoration, shahnaivadan, PAS, power and water supply, transport arrangements, sanitation, medicare facilities, invitation cards and barricading  venue of the function.

       The ADC directed all officers to make necessary arrangements in advance for the national event and called for complete synergy among the officers for smooth conduct of Independence Day
 function across the district.  He said the national event demands complete seriousness while performing the tasks so that the festival is observed in complete honour with laid down protocol. 
      The PDD and Jal Shakti departments were directed to ensure proper management of electricity and water including stand by arrangements at the venue.
    The CMO was asked to ensure proper essential medical facilities along with staff and ambulances.
    The CEO of Municipal Council was assigned the task of sanitation to ensure  and cleanliness of the main venue and town.
       The ADC stressed on ensuring fool proof arrangements at tehsil and block levels also to celebrate the national event with great enthusiasm and traditional gaiety.
   

     The meeting deliberately upon "har ghar tiranga" program and worked out the strategy for making the event a mass festival. 
   All the departments were asked to appoint nodal officers for requisitioning national flags and the district sports officer has been tasked to prepare pamphlets on flag code and its protocol for distribution among the civilians and institutions. 
    The meeting was attended by JD-Planning, ACR, ACD, CEO, Principals from Colleges, Commandant CRPF. DSP-HQ, officers from Army, all Tehsildars, Ex. Engineers of R&B and PHE,  and other district and sectoral officers of the district.
