Ramban, December 02 : A Police' Party of Naka Point Police Station Ramsoo:headed by HC Vijay Paul EXJ/986245 while checking of vehicles stopped one truck bearing regd. No. JK05G-9376 coming from Kashmir towards jammu and on checking of the said truck, 12 bags containing 2 quintal 75 kg poppy straw like substance got recovered from the said truck hidden under loaded apple packed boxes, the driver of said truck disclosed his identity as Tanveer Ahmed Bhat S/o Manzoor Ahmed Bhat R/o Seelu Sopore, Baramulla accompanied by conductor /helper namely Sahil Nazir S/o Nazir Ahmed Chopan R/o Seelu Sopore, Baramulla. On this, Case FIR No.’s 119/2022 u/s 8/15 NDPS Act was registered in P/S Ramsoo and investigation set into motion.
The overall operation was carried out by the police party headed by Inspector Nayeem Ul Haq under the supervision Sh. Nissar Ahmad Khowja SDPO Banihal with the overall supervision of SP Ramban, Ms Mohita Sharma, (IPS)
