NC leader's Jihad remarks against BJP reveal true intentions: Kavinder

Jammu:

JAMMU: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former deputy Chief Minister, strongly condemned the controversial statement made by Javed Rana, NC leader and former MLA, for declaring a Jihad against the Bharatiya Janata Party, exposing the National Conference’s true intentions to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued here today, the senior BJP leader said that the National Conference has a long history of nurturing terrorism, supporting Jihadis, and backing anti-national elements. He stated, "National Conference has consistently worked against the nation’s interests. It had opposed the construction of the Ram Temple, abrogation of Article 370, and various efforts by the BJP to bring development and stability to the region." He emphasized that such actions undermine the nation's progress and unity, highlighting the stark contrast between the BJP's commitment to national integrity and the National Conference's detrimental policies.
Kavinder cautioned the people of Jammu and Kashmir to be vigilant against parties like the National Conference that undermine national unity and progress. "Javed Rana and his party owe an unconditional apology to the nation for their divisive rhetoric and actions that endanger our country's integrity," he sought.
He underscored BJP's commitment to safeguarding national interests and promoting harmony in Jammu and Kashmir, while calling out those who seek to disrupt this mission.
