Taekwondo Team participated in 2nd Sub Junior National Championship in Rajasthan   Team escorted by Coach Mansha Basir ,Sheikh Muzafar won bronze Medals

17 members Jammu and Kashmir taekwondo team including 2 officials participated recently in 2nd sub. Junior ,cadet and junior national taekwondo championship. 

This championship was held at SMS stadium Jaipur Rajasthan from 6th to 8th of February 2024. 1600 athletes across the country participated in this event. This event is organised by INDIA TAEKWONDO, recognised body of world Taekwondo and Asian taekwondo union. 

Two players of jammu and kashmir taekwondo team won two bronze medals Muqadas Jr girl, Adnan Parvaiz cadet Male .Only athlete Burhan Bhat form Jammu and Kashmir state participated in the Olympic trials, but unfortunately he lost the 2nd round of qualifier against kerela.

The team is escorted by Mansha Bashir female team coach and Sheikh Muzaffar as Male team coach. The opening ceremony was witnessed by Honourable sports Minister of Rajasthan state and closing ceremony by Mr Namdev president of India Taekwondo in presence of world coordinator for India Taekwondo namely Kiarash Bahri.
