Beig Shamim Ahmed : Srinagar Police zone Hazratbal Organized drug de-addiction awareness programme at Green valley Educational institute Illahi bagh , Srinagar.
SP Hazratbal Hilal Khaliq Bhat has highlighted the positive role of Jammu and and Kashmir police towards peace ,prosperity and Brotherhood.
Participants made a solemn commitment to unequivocally abandon addiction of drugs and actively work towards eradicating drug abuse from their lives and communities.
SP Hazratbal said that the aim of these programmes was to raise awareness about drug menace and drug de-addiction measures, while emphasizing the role of Police and other stakeholders of the society in combating drug abuse.
Distinguished dignitaries from various walks of life, students, faculty members, and representatives from civil society organizations participated in the event.
SP Hazratbal Sh.Hilal Khaliq Bhat, JKPS ,SDPO Hazratbal Sh.Ashiq Hussain ,SHO Zadibal Gowher Ali, SHO Ahmed Nagar participated in the drug de-addiction awareness programme, besides one expert Mr Abid Hussain senior mental health counsellor ,youth development centre Eidgah Srinagar also participated in the event
Students from Green valley Educational institute attended the program .students presented a cultural program and some 10 students delivered lectures on the subject
Later Cash prizes of Rs 5000 for 1st position,3000 for 2nd position ,2000 for 3rd position were given to the students.
Moreover Rs 3000 given to participants of cultural program Rs 2000 to band group, momentoes/certificates were presented to the participants / jury members and consolation prizes were also distributed in the event.in addition refreshment in packed form was distributed among all the participants present in the event.
